Your 1st Visit..
On your first visit to the office with Dr. Joseph Pigg, you'll sit down with the doctor and go through the history of the problem(s) bringing you into the office. Then the doctor will perform an exam. The emphasis is not only on identifying what hurts, but also to attempt finding what is ultimately causing the pain so that the cause can be dealt with. (Patients do NOT usually have to change clothes or wear a gown). Depending on your history and depth of the problem, x-rays may be taken in the office.
Later, the doctor will go over his exam and x-ray findings with you letting you know what was found and what treatment options exist for fixing the problem.
